I had a nice salad. Good food at a good price.
However I can't stomach "organic" as a restaurant concept because a) there is no evidence that "organic" food is better for me (Soil Assoc allows 11 pesticides & insecticides in "organic" crops) and b) even if my salad was grown in the Garden of Eden and transported in a fairtrade-cotton wearing virgin's bosom to my table, I would assume since the salad wasn't covered in soil, it had been washed - in London water - which is not organic.
Can't this place leave the illusionary marketing to Tescos, drop the pretentiousness of current middle-class society and just be a good foodie without the cringe?
